My TikTok royalty period for September 30th just published to my AWAL statement. I received 14.9 cents for a video that at this time (6 months later) still only has 38 views.

If you go to the 4th line and below to look at how much money other songs have received, you find that 1.1 cents has been added to my account for songs that are on TikTok but no one has used yet: Cool Water in You, Going for a Walk Be Back Soon, You’re a Backseat Driver, Entering the City of the Jellyfish Hums (which I love and will be using on my TikTok page soon).

I’ve been questing to figure out how much money is allocated to each song play/use and for September it looks like it may be much more than I could have ever expected. If this is a correct representation it appears that for each song play you could expect up to half a cent per play or 14.9 cents or less per use of your song on TikTok. This is mind boggling compared to the statistics for YouTube and Spotify per play income. Either way, this sounds way too good to be true, I will report back next time I have statistic to share with you. But for now enjoy listening and creating with some Lightmares and Jenna Citrus sound clips on TikTok so we can keep…
