How New Subscriber/Follower Acquisition Directly Affects Fan and Patreon Growth. YouTube to OnlyFans and Patreon
Pst, I have an OnlyFans page, shhh don’t tell your mom, or maybe do! Viral videos, shares, views, and subscription to your social platforms directly affect the number of supports on Patreon and OnlyFans, can speak from direct experience over the past 6 years. I opened my Patreon account in January 2017 and it was hard building fans from the people I already knew, reaching out to my network and asking them to reach into their pocketbooks. But in April of 2018 with a few tweaks and changes to what I was doing, I was able to generate a full time, but modest, income.
What happened? How did I go from around $50/per month to an average of $2000–$4000? YouTube subscribers. During that time I gained around 10,000 YouTube subscribers and I had another peak about a year later where I jumped to 60,000 subscribers. I had the same thing happen on Instagram, when my number of followers jumped, my Patreonage and number of supporters on OnlyFans rose. Of course it has fallen in between. Patreon says that adult content creators have a retention rate of about 50%, so for every 2 Patreons that join, you can expect roughly 1 to be there next month, the month after that, not so much in my experience. I’ve had to focus on new supporters to attempt to maintain my living as a full time content creator.
