Today I Made a Schedule

The title has been the name of a document I’ve been working on for multiple years that I couldn’t seem to make work.

I’ve heard the importance of having a schedule, using a schedule, or sticking to a schedule, but I’ve had problems adhering to one, even for a day for my own work life balance.

I thrived in school when you had to be certain places at certain times, but since I’ve been self employed for the last 5 years, I can’t seem to schedule work that doesn’t involve other people. Unless I make a habit of doing it everyday or this new weekly hack I’ve worked out for myself.

Before the last two week: thing always seemed to be done before their deadline because somehow I could judge them and make time for the important, prioritized things. But when it comes to being an artist/model/content creator/writer/poet/photographer/musician/singer/yoga practitioner/meditation creator/designer/dancer/every other title I like to take on, not having a schedule led me to things like not having painted in over a year.

The way I currently have my schedule arranged is simple, there is one exercise mission and one creator based mission per day for everyday of the week. For example Monday is core day and writing day.

We have a plan! Started on September 4th 2023 and morphing slightly ever since.
